The congregation responded with enthusiasm when Pastor Dan asked for support of the Tanzinia Mission Team. The 14 member team was commissioned on Sun. July 11, one day before their departure for Dar es Salaam.
The team consisting of: Ken, Karen, Caitlin and Courtney Smith, Bill and Sara Van Essendelft, Cheryl Grasmoen, Jim and Justin Woodruff and Lorna Peck, Pete and Mary Lou Linder, Corrie Manning and Carrie Buck, will spend three and a half weeks in central Tanzania.
The service included several songs prepared by the team. These songs will be shared with our sister congregation in the village of Lukani.
